So I go out of the house to buy some guavas.

2 kilos to be exact.

This old uncle charges Tk. 300.

“Huh!! As if!! Tk. 300 -_- It’d cost less to travel all the way to Poribag from Panthapath, buy guavas, and travel alll the way back -_- ”

“ Wait.”

“Why not do that??”

So…in the hopes of attaining guavas at 100 bucks a kilo…I take a rickshaw…30 bucks.

Simple logic — 30+30= 60, and 200 bucks for 2 kilos.

40 bucks saved, like a boss :3

Except, I reach Poribag, and am struck by a thunderbolt of Economics -_-

180 taka per kilo.

200 taka per kilo….

The simple reason….

not the SEASON for guavas -_-

Running around, I finally find one guy willing to sell at 120 per kilo.

Come back at 30 taka rate. The grand total — 300 -_-

At least I broke even, right?

Except, I didn’t.

Opportunity Cost — Time wasted in which I could’ve worked out, watched an hour of a movie, 2 and a half episodes of any sitcom in the world (example : Two and a Half Men) ( -_- )

Lesson: There is more to the phrase “Time is money” than you had thought.
